Job Summary

The Government Documents Librarian works within the close-knit team of the Reference Services Division of the State Library.

This position is responsible for all administrative functions related to the Federal Depository Library Program and the State Publications Access Program. The Government Documents Librarian also provides reference assistance to the public, libraries, and state employees.

A Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution is preferred.

A Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 3 years relevant experience is required. Relevant experience includes familiarity with government documents and information, LibGuides, digital documents, cataloging and/or metadata, and an integrated library system, such as Innovative Sierra.

This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekend or evening hours. All state holidays are observed. Benefits are provided through the State of Missouri. Potential monthly salary range is $3,409.00 - $3,684.00. Posting will remain open until filled.
