St. Louis County Library Joins MOBIUS

On behalf of everyone at MOBIUS we would like to welcome our newest member, St. Louis County Library! St, Louis County Library went live on INN-Reach in June as a standalone Sierra system and will be contributing their collections to the MOBIUS Union catalog in stages over the next several months.

"St. Louis County Library is a vital community resource, supporting literacy and partnering with other organizations to support and enrich our community. In addition to books and other library materials, we offer free programs and services including computer classes, small business assistance, job help, story times, STEM programming, summer and winter reading clubs, individualized help and so much more."

St. Louis County Library Director Kristen Sorth said, “We are thrilled to be a part of the MOBIUS network. This amazing resource will give our patrons access to over 60 million items from academic, special and public libraries. Since joining in June, we’ve heard great things about the service from our staff and library patrons.”

In 2018 SLCL boasted a collection size of 1,741,467 items with over 13 million items circulated. They have 20 branches serving the St. Louis County area.
